SMM Cottage in old Munnar is a super place to stay, with a friendly and accommodating staff available 24/7 to assist you in anything you need. the owner went above and beyond, allowing me an early check-in and even offering a larger room to rest after a long journey. the location is ideal, close to the public bus stand and a great starting point to explore the nearby attractions with tuktuks readily available. The highlight of my stay was the hiking experience arranged by Sri, where we trekked through tea plantations to a hilltop with stunning views. Sri's knowledge of the region and the spices grown there added an enriching layer to the journey. Back at the cottage, the rooms were modern, bright, and clean, with amenities like a balcony offering garden views and a cozy seating area. The property's commitment to guest comfort is evident, with special care taken to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. With free WiFi, a shared lounge, and a 24-hour front desk, SMM Cottage offers a seamless blend of convenience and relaxation. Anamudi Peak is just 18 km away, making it a perfect choice for nature enthusiasts.
